Paid Survey Update is free to read. We earn money in two ways: affiliate links and advertising. This page explains both, so you know how we are paid when you read a review, click a link, or open one of our emails.
Affiliate links and partner offers
Many links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for a program, install an app, or complete a qualifying action, the company may pay us a commission or referral fee.
Using our links does not change what the company charges you. Each company sets its own fees, rewards, and requirements, and those can change, so check them with the company before you start.
From time to time we feature a single program in a promotional panel. These panels are affiliate offers too: we earn a commission if you sign up through one. No company pays us for a placement, a position in a list, or a rating, and we do not sell advertising space directly.
Advertising
Google AdSense places ads on this site. Google and its advertising partners choose which ads you see, and we are paid when ads are shown or clicked. An ad on this site is not an endorsement by Paid Survey Update. Our Privacy Policy explains how advertising cookies work and how to manage them.
Our emails contain affiliate links as well. If you sign up for a program through a link in one of our emails, we may be paid in the same way.
How we choose and rate programs
Affiliate commissions and advertising are what keep Paid Survey Update free. Most of the programs we cover are ones we can earn a commission from, so we have a financial interest when you join one. This is standard affiliate marketing, and you should know about it when you read our recommendations.
A commission does not buy a rating. We base our ratings on objective factors about each program, and we report its drawbacks along with its strengths. When a program is a poor fit, we say so, including when the better choice is to skip an offer or stop partway through it.
What we do not control
Offers, rewards, eligibility rules, and terms belong to each company and can change without notice. Earnings vary, and a figure in a review is not a promise of what you will earn.
